If you have a sewing machine, great.  If you would prefer to try out a Viking sewing machine at no additional cost, a classroom model will be available for your use.  As there are only 6 students per class, please call to reserve your space in advance.  All levels of sewing are welcome to attend.

New to sewing, we usually begin with a simple but cute draw-string bag.  If you're starting to quilt, I can help you pick a pattern.  Already have your heart set on making...?  let's make that!

Private or Group Lessons

   Classes are a minimum of two hours, $25.00 per hour.

Supply List for Sewing Class

• Your own sewing machine with power and foot control
• scissors: one for fabric, one for paper
•  Seam gauge
•  Straight pins with heads
•  Seam ripper
• All-purpose thread, matching and/or contrasting, depending on your preference.
• Extra sewing machine needles encase of breakage, size 75 or 80. Your project may require a different size, but these are the norm.
• Pattern and yardage for your project.
• Additional supplies may be needed.  An amended list for your specific class supplies will be given upon registration.
• paper & pencil, for note taking if desired.
• Please label all the supplies that you can, as they all tend to be similar.
• Quilter's need a few extra supplies:  rotary cutter, self-healing mat and 6" x 24" ruler.
